General Description

The Vessel is designed as an integrated oceanographic research vessel with special purposes and sails in unrestricted navigation area. Its mission is to defend the national maritime rights and interests, protect the marine environment, supervise and control the exploitation of sea areas, undertake the basic oceanographic survey and exploration of marine resources and seafloor facility.

The Vessel is constructed as a mono steel hull with long forecastle, stem and bulbous bow. The Vessel is driven by El-propulsion system through a full turning rudder and equipped with bow thruster and central A/C units in the living and working space of the whole ship, with the capability of DP-1 positioning.
