The two 62000 ton multi-purpose pulp ships, COSCO SHIPPING Jixiang and COSCO SHIPPING Ruyi, have a total length of 201.8 meters, a width of 32.26 meters, a depth of 19.3 meters, a designed draft of 12.5 meters, a structural draft of 13.3 meters, and a service speed of not less than 13.5 knots. It is a multi-purpose ship with containerized cargo holds and global routes. In addition to transporting pulp, it can also transport bulk goods such as grains, iron ore, steel drums, wind power equipment, large machinery equipment, and containers. The main and auxiliary engines of the ship are equipped with SCR systems, meeting the NOx TIER III emission requirements and obtaining additional marks such as intelligent ship and green ecological ship.
In addition, four other 62000 ton multi-purpose heavy lift vessels for Haihan Intercontinental have also started construction one after another. At present, the company has undertaken a batch of 10 62000 ton series multi-purpose ship types, 4 7000 ton electric propulsion multi-purpose ships, 8 12500 ton multi-purpose heavy lift ships, 4 13500 ton bulk carriers, 4 50000 deadweight ton MR type product oil tankers, and 41 contracts for 1800TEU container ships have been effective, with 30 delivered. At present, the company holds more than 80 shipbuilding orders with a contract amount exceeding 11 billion yuan, and the order schedule is until 2027.
