Huanghai Shipbuilding delivers a 1800TEU container ship

On May 31st, Huanghai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. successfully delivered a 1800TEU container ship built for Haifeng International SITC. The "SITC CHANGDE" vessel named and delivered this time is the first of six 1800TEU container ships built in bulk by Huanghai Shipbuilding for Haifeng International.
The SITC CHANGDE has a total length of 172.00m, a width of 28.4m, a depth of 14.5m, a designed draft of 8.5m, a maximum load capacity of approximately 24000t, a designed speed of 18.5 knots, and is equipped with high-efficiency propellers, energy-saving twist rudders SCR、 The desulfurization tower unit and 258 refrigerated containers meet Tier III emission requirements, making it an energy-saving and economical container ship with low energy consumption, high speed, and high loading capacity.
At present, Huanghai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. has built and delivered 26 1800TEU container series ships, and it is expected to deliver another 9 ships in 2024.
