HUANGHAI SHIPBUILDING Delivers a 1800 TEU Container Ship

On September 23, 2022, the 1,800 TEU container ship "ASL HONG KONG" built by HUANGHAI SHIPBUILDING CO., LTD for ASL was successfully delivered.

This ship is the first one of the four 1800 TEU container ships built by HUANGHAI SHIPBUILDING CO., LTD for ASL. The ship has an overall length of 171.9 meters, a beam of 28.4 meters, a depth of 14.5 meters, a design draft of 8.5 meters, a structural draft of 9.7 meters, a structural draft of 24,000 tons, and a speed of 18.7 knots. It is an energy-saving and economic container ship with low energy consumption, high speed and high load factor. The design of this ship is suitable for the operation of regional, multi-port of call, frequent loading and unloading feeder container ships, and greatly improves the comprehensive economic performance of the ship. The 1800 TEU container ship "ASL HONG KONG" delivered this time will be put into the new ACX service (China-Australia service) of Asia Shipping Line.
